As if rapidly rising fuel prices weren’t enough to stress fleet managers, now Bridgestone is raising prices for commercial tires on May 1.
The hike on commercial tires comes less than a year after an October 2021 cost bump.
Fleet managers are seeking ways to reduce overhead but can’t go without tire upgrades – no tires, no trucking. Even trying to save money by going longer between new sets of commercial tires isn’t a good way to save; delayed replacement can be dangerous and can increase costs by harming fuel efficiency.
With an expense as large as replacing tires, fleets are looking for the best deal — especially fleets that aren’t large enough to have their own national discounts.
TVC Pro-Driver is one easy way to take a chunk out of the bill. Members receive up to 12.5% off truck commercial tires through national and regional distributors. For a fleet of 100 trucks spending $300,000 annually on tires, that’s a savings of $37,500.
Importantly, TVC Pro-Driver doesn’t force fleets to choose off-brand commercial tires. Our discounts include premier names in the business, such as Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Yokohama, Firestone and more. We even offer deals on retreads.
Plus, TVC’s tire program offers discounts for preventive maintenance, which improves fuel efficiency. The funds companies save on tires can go to hiring, safety training or other corporate priorities – or help offset rising fuel costs.
How to Set Up Your National Account:
