Meet TVC Pro-Driver’s Chief Sales Officer, Nick Hillesheim!

Nick oversees all sales channels with a particular focus on fleets. He joined TVC’s executive leadership team in April and brings a wealth of experience in transportation technology and sales management. He previously served as Vice President of North American Sales at SmartDrive Systems and held sales leadership roles at Trimble Transportation.

Nick is committed to putting customers first and finding solutions for fleets of all sizes. “At TVC Pro-Driver, we pride ourselves on our white glove service. Our team goes above and beyond to make sure fleets get stellar support and top-notch protection for their drivers,” Nick said. “There’s a reason fleet managers across the country trust TVC. We work tirelessly to help fleets maintain CSA scores, keep drivers on the road, save on fuel and attract new talent.” 

Army Veteran, Family Man and Ice Cream Aficionado

Nick is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq in 2006 and 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree in consumer affairs from South Dakota State University and began his career in transportation. He is a certified transportation professional with the National Private Truck Council. His experience both in serving his country and the transportation industry has provided Nick with a unique and valuable approach to managing his team and supporting TVC’s customers.

He and his wife live just southwest of Minneapolis with their three children: an 11-year-old daughter and 8-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. As a national company based out of Oklahoma, TVC’s sales team hails from a range of climates. When asked by his colleagues, Nick stated that his family doesn’t mind the harsh winters of the upper Midwest. In fact, they love the cold weather and spend time outdoors ice skating, playing ice hockey and ice fishing.

As an active family with a variety of interests, the Hillesheim family keeps busy. In addition to being active in sports and local activities, it might surprise readers to learn that the family also offers cold treats in their hometown. After perfecting unique ice cream flavors at home and selling them online last year, they launched Frozen Five Ice Creamery this summer. Fun fact: Frozen Five is named for Nick’s family of five and the five basic ingredients in their ice cream base.

Nick says most people don’t know he is a certified commercial pilot and flying is his passion. When he has spare time, he takes off to spontaneous destinations, sometimes simply picking a place on a map.
